I have 40+ years experience growing and using cannabis, a masters degree in agri/horticulture from MSU and will break each review down as follows from my own personal experience with seeds or clones obtained directly from the original breeders: The strain under review is Kosher Kush by DNA genetics a.k.a. Reserva Privada. I've grown 6 of these beans and know a few other people that have as well and most of the pheno's seems to be pretty consistent with only two different one's which are almost the same, except one has a stronger odor and taste, which is as described, earthy and piney. This is an easy strain to grow in just about any situation, soil hydro, indoors or out. For as dense as the buds are, it has some good mold resistance. Like most indica dominant strains, the plants are shorter but the bids are stouter with the usual higher quality but lower yielding plant. Very high bud to leaf ratio and next to the original White Widow back in the 90's, that most people use pictures of today, it has the most frosty trim leaves of any other strain I have seen but besides that is is nothing like WW. Hang the plant to dry and again most of the trim is so frosty, you can basically leave most of it on as whatever is there is small. USE; Strong indica effects best for evening and nigh time use. Would be great for pain and insomnia and any other condition where relaxation will help. GROW; Indoors; this plant loves the SCROG method where you can get some very short plant with a lot of lateral growth or SOG if you prefer hydro. This plant takes a little longer to finish than most indicas at 9-10 weeks. This strain will tell you if you are pushing it with the nutrients by showing burnt leaf tips easily, so if you start to see them, you are giving them to many. Outdoors; She'll start to flower July 24 - Aug 7 depending on latitude and was ready on October 7th at 42*N latitude and a few days to a week earlier at 35*N latitude.

Kosher Kush has to be one of my top 5 strains - It leaves you with a calm, relaxed, happy, stress free state of mind that has not only physically relieving properties but mentally as well. I have tried this strain several times, and every time I feel incredible; I am in a delightful mood -- very happy and sociable. Kosher gives you a great forehead stone -- that kind of pressure you get from your 3rd eye opening (the Pineal gland) It is great for being creative and helps me focus on particular things in a relaxed state of mind. I guess that would be a great thing for people (like myself) who suffer from anxiety or have ADD. It is a great meditative and reflective type of weed that has helped me see though many stressful circumstances. I also notice it is quite powerful in relieving pain. I have some onset symptons of arthritis from playing the guitar and have noticed this helps alievieate some minor inflamation and various other painful symptoms. Kosher is also great for inducing a nice healthy appetite, not one of the ravenous types of "munchies" where you eat everything in the fridge and even start contemplating what lies in the dogs dish. Now that I think of it, it has helped me with nausea during the flu and as well as some minor sports injuries and migraines. I would try to describe the taste, but that always varies on the grower -- Mine is usually a thick pungent smoke that has an earthy-sour-spicey-diesel taste to it. Overall, I rate this strain a solid 5 stars. If I were to ever be able to grow some personal medicinal plants, Kosher Kush would be one of the first seeds I would buy.

Fucking wow man. Never before have I had a weed that i can pass around with just about everyone and have them cracking the fuck up.. this herb smell way earthy, and looks bombed with crystals.. its verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry sticky.. it will leave the bag resinated in trichromes that you had it in and you can then press together with your fingers where the bud used to be and still hear it stick.. This is no doubt the bombest herb you may ever find if your looking for a great laugher. This bud got me fucking soaring way high, I dont think it could get any better then this for a laughy giggly ass bud to smoke. I could go on and on for days, Im amazed more people arent saying this is a giggler... Perhaps its just the way the guys grew it out here where I am.. but fucking damn its great..good for pain too, i dont notice any illness on the backpiece after blazing.. I am a fan of this weed for fucking life.

I have crippling anxiety and panic attacks. Sometimes when I smoke I get more anxious and freak out. Kosher Kush is one of the only strains I've tried that makes me feel good every time I smoke it. I like the taste too, it's earthy. I have Fibromyalgia too and it helps me deal with the pains.

I really really like this! Buds are dense yet fluffy, and sticky and crystally and yummy :) Puts me right into chill mode to get a good nights sleep. And wake and bake took all anxiety away and gave me a happy energetic boost out of bed leading to a productive goofing off day with my kids :) I live with a lot of anxieties and depression both mentally and physically. Some days I can barely get out bed, but today Kosher Kush saved the day ;)

One of my favorite heavy indicas, right up there with Platinum Kush for me. You immediately get hit by a full body euphoria that feels as if God has just picked you up and wrapped you in a soft pillow of heaven. Auditory synesthesia comes next, as sounds get extremely heightened and often cross with the touch sensations in my body. And finally you become enveloped in deep, euphoric, full body relaxation. The perfect night cap after a hard day. I don't usually add tobacco in my spliffs, but when I do, it's with Kosher Kush. A wonderful symbiosis between the two plants occurs - both in taste, smoke, and most importantly, feeling. I know it's not for everybody, but roll a 50/50 with some Kosher, kick back and relax, and thank me later.
